GENESEO, N.Y., Feb. 23, 2026 — Livingston County is celebrating the completion and approval of the Conesus Lake Watershed Management Plan. The plan incorporates best management practices to improve water quality and watershed health. The Conesus Lake watershed is approximately 70 square miles and encompasses more than 18 streams that flow into the lake. The towns of Conesus, Geneseo, Groveland, Livonia, Sparta and Springwater, as well as the Village of Livonia, are all partially within the watershed boundary.
