MOUNT MORRIS, N.Y., Mar. 20, 2026 — The Livingston County Department of Health (LCDOH) is partnering with Geneseo Central School to host a Community Wellness Fair on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Geneseo Central School, 4050 Avon-Geneseo Road, Geneseo, N.Y.
Organizers say all members of the public are welcome to attend the free event, which will introduce residents to the wide range of health and social services available to them locally. Attendees can expect sensory-friendly toys and crafts, physical activities, light refreshments, community resource information, face painting, and raffles.
"This event is a wonderful opportunity to bring together the programs and community organizations that work every day to support the health and well-being of residents in Livingston County," said Jill Burley, deputy director of the Livingston County Department of Health. "We hope everyone who attends will leave with something useful, whether it’s a new connection or learning about a resource right here in our community that they didn’t know existed."
The event is co-hosted by five Health Department programs: the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program; the Perinatal Infant Community Health Collaborative (PICHC) Program; the Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) Program; the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program; and the Early Intervention Program. Together, these initiatives serve some of the County's youngest residents and most vulnerable families. The event will connect community members with these health resources in a welcoming, family-friendly setting.
Additionally, nearly two dozen community organizations will be on hand to share information and resources, including:
- Livingston County Sheriff's Office
