Tell us about what you do with the County: I am a Chief Deputy and lead the Professional Standards Bureau which encompasses Community Policing, Internal Affairs, Accreditation, Grants, Training, Personnel Matters, Civil Division, Victim Specialist, as well as the Sheriff's Office 14 Special Teams (K9, Mounted, USRT, Crisis Negotiations, SWAT, Honor Guard, DRE, Fire Brigade, Firearms Unit, Snowmobile, SONAR, Drone, Child Passenger Safety Unit and Motorcycle Unit).
What part of your job motivates you the most/makes you happiest? I have the opportunity to assist in making your Sheriff's Office the best it can be in an effort to serve the county the best we can.
Any notable professional accomplishments you'd like to share? I've had the opportunity to do a lot of great things but the one I value the most was the time a spent being a mentor and teaching new police officers.
Favorite sports team, if any? I like to bet against the Bills because it's easy money. Just ask the Sheriff...
Favorite hobby? Snowmobiling, bow hunting, waterfowl hunting.
