Tell us about what you do with the County: I am a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. Through the Office for the Aging I am here 16 hours per week and am available for one on one nutrition counseling as well as group presentations. I serve those who are 60 and over. I also help to develop the menus for Home Delivered Meals / Congregate Dining. I provide nutrition education at our (4) nutrition sites as well as written information that is dispersed to each of our Home Delivered Meal recipients as well as other locations.
What part of your job motivates you the most/makes you happiest? Witnessing the positive effect that a balanced meal and a friendly smile brings to so many individuals. In regard to nutrition counseling it is seeing the outcome (improved health) when individuals have applied the education/information provided and made changes to their lifestyle.
Any notable professional accomplishments you'd like to share? Aside from being a Registered Dietitian, I became a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist in 2019. I am also credentialed as a Master Trainer/ Facilitator/Coach for the National Diabetes Prevention Program.
Favorite sports team, if any? Of course the Buffalo Bills!!!
Favorite hobby? Gardening, reading, antiquing, and spending time with family and friends.

Best place in the County to relax? Letchworth State Park
What’s something unique about you people would never guess just by looking at you? As tall as I am, I never played basketball and I'm not fond of heights.
