Compliance Commitment

Livingston County is committed to our responsibility to conduct our business affairs with integrity based on sound ethical and moral standards. We will hold our employees, contracted practitioners, and vendors to these same standards. Livingston County is committed to maintaining and measuring the effectiveness of our Compliance policies and standards through monitoring and auditing systems reasonably designed to detect noncompliance by its employees and agents. 

Confidential Reporting

Livingston County maintains a formal confidential and anonymous compliance reporting process to encourage the reporting of any compliance concerns.  Any County employee or private citizen may report allegations of illegal or unethical conduct involved County employees or appointed or elected officials.  This includes reporting evidence of known or suspected misconduct, including legal violations, misuse of resources, improper gifts or kickbacks, financial fraud, acts of retaliation, or violation(s) of County policy and procedures.  

Verbal or written reports concerning non-compliance, discrimination or acts of waste, fraud, or abuse may be made through any of the methods listed below.  When submitting written compliance questions, concerns, or complaints, please fill out the Compliance Communication Form and return to the Compliance Department by email or mail.
